Middle School RR Clubs - Winter 2026

Willink Winter Hot Chocolate Club 2026

Description: This session is for athletes who are interested in training during the winter months. The 10-week club consists of 23 practices. The training emphasis is base mileage and strength endurance in the weight room. Races are not emphasized during this training phase. Running will be done outside in the elements. Wind chill is considered each practice and athletes run inside if deemed too cold to run (practices cancelled 15-degree windchill or under). Required “winter wear” includes: hats, gloves, and some sort of mask for face/neck protection.

This club session will begin on January 13th and conclude on March 10. A high-visibility club running jacket will be loaned to all club members in the order of registration (while supplies last). Attendance at all practices is not mandatory. Back by popular demand this year is “Hot Chocolate Tuesday”. There will be a hot chocolate bar on Tuesday practices after our run concludes. Runners will have the option of “spicing” up their hot chocolate with additives such as candy canes, marshmallows, and whip cream. Please communicate any food allergy concerns. The club registration fee is $150 per athlete. On-line registration must be done electronically. Under no circumstances will refunds be granted.
